When and where is the race? What time does it start?

The XIV edition of We Run Rome will take place on Wednesday 31 December 2025, both the start/finish and the village will be located at the Terme di Caracalla Stadium “Nando Martellini”. Starting at 10 am, the We Run Rome village will be operational in the area adjacent to the stadium. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the various stands of the event partners and taste the proposals of the food trucks present. The warm up is scheduled for 12 pm inside the stadium. The start of the 10 km competitive and non-competitive is scheduled for 2 pm and the 5 km a few minutes later. If there are any changes, you will be promptly notified either on the website www.werunrome.com or on the Facebook page of the event.

What is the difference between the competitive and non-competitive 10K race?

The difference is that for the competitive race you must have either a FIDAL membership or the FIDAL/EPS Runcard along with the competitive medical certificate. For the competitive race, an official ranking will be drawn up using Gun Times. In the non-competitive race, there will still be a time measurement, but not a ranking, but only a list in alphabetical order with the relative time result of the athlete.

Do I have to be a member of a running association to take part in the race?

We Run Rome is a type of race that allows anyone to participate. To register for the non-competitive 10 km race, the only requirement is to be 14 years old, while for the 5 km race there are no restrictions whatsoever. In order to participate in the competitive race, according to the current FIDAL regulations, you must necessarily be a member of a running club affiliated with FIDAL, or be a member of a Sports Promotion Body (Athletics section) affiliated with FIDAL, in possession of the RunCard EPS, the third possibility is to have the RunCard FIDAL combined with a medical certificate of competitive fitness specific for athletics. I have regularly registered and I received the email with the registration receipt but I can't find it anymore and I think I deleted it by mistake, what can I do?

I have regularly registered and the payment was successful but I have not received the email confirming my registration, what can I do?

I realized I filled out the registration form incorrectly, how can I change it?

It is essential that your personal details and email are correct. What are the payment methods? Can I register in person?

The payment methods are through: bank transfer, paypal, credit card and prepaid card. If you want to register in person you can do it on the days of delivery of the race kits and bibs and on the day of the race if there are still bibs available.

What do I need to present when picking up my race pack, bib and t-shirt? Can I have a relative/friend pick it up?

To collect your race kit, bib and t-shirt, you must present the registration receipt that was sent to you by email along with an identification document. It is possible to delegate a third person to collect your race pack; the delegate must be in possession of the registration receipt, the written delegation on plain signed paper and a copy of an identification document of the delegating person.

Where and when can I collect my race pack?

All information regarding the location, days and times of collection will be communicated later on the website www.werunrome.com and on the event's social channels. Can minors participate?

For the competitive race, children who have turned 16 by the day of the race can participate; the authorization from a parent or legal guardian must be uploaded in the appropriate field. For the non-competitive 10 km race, children who have turned 14 by the day of the event can participate; the authorization from a parent or legal guardian must be uploaded in the appropriate field. When registering I mistakenly selected the wrong size of the t-shirt, how can I change it?

Will there be a chance to change? Will there be showers?

Yes, there will be the possibility to change, there will be two changing rooms, one for men and one for women. There will not be the possibility to take a shower.

Will there be a bag storage facility?

Yes, there will be a bag deposit, but we recommend that you do not leave valuables inside.

How many refreshment points will there be?

There will be two refreshment points, one at the 5th km and another at the end of the race. For the 5 km there will be a single refreshment point at the end of the race.

I'm not from Rome, what's the easiest way to get to the Terme di Caracalla Stadium?

To easily reach the Caracalla Stadium, take the Metro Line B (the blue one) towards Laurentina and get off at the Circo Massimo stop. The stadium is located about 100 metres from there.

What type of chips will be used?

The time detection chips used are disposable ones, they are applied directly to the back of the bib and must not be returned after the race.

Will the timekeeping only be for the competitive test?

No, the timing will be set up for both the competitive and non-competitive 10 km races. The only difference is that for the competitive race, an official ranking will be drawn up using Gun Times, while for the non-competitive race, you will only run to beat yourself. There will be no timing for the 5 km race.

I signed up but unfortunately I am unable to attend, can I transfer my registration to a third party?

Registration fees are not refundable under any circumstances.
