Atleticom ASD organizes on Friday 31 December 2021 the X Edition of ATLETICOM WE RUN ROME, a competitive road race over a distance of 10 km and non-competitive over a distance of 10 and 5 km.

The event takes place under the aegis of FIDAL, included in the national calendar and awarded the FIDAL Silver Label.

It enjoys the patronage of CONI, Roma Capitale and the Lazio Region.

The X Edition will be organized in compliance and in full respect with the provisions in force regarding the containment of the epidemiological risk from Covid-19, issued by the competent bodies and defined by FIDAL in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the CTS.

 

The start of the ATLETICOM WE RUN ROME is structured in "Waves", each wave, as indicated in the federal protocol, will consist of a maximum of 2000 athletes. Each of the departures will be scheduled by providing an adequate time interval between each and with a physical distance between each athlete. In order to optimally manage departures, the start of the race and the finish will not coincide.

The ranking is drawn up based on Real Time, therefore on the actual time taken from crossing the starting line to the finish line. The first wave will start at 14:00.

By registering for the race, the athlete declares to have read and fully accept these regulations.

 

* The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify these competition regulations based on the provisions of the competent institutions, therefore we invite all participants to consult it and stay up to date.

1 – MEETING


It is set for Friday 31 December 2021 at 12:00 at the "Nando Martellini" Terme di Caracalla Stadium in Rome. The start of the race will be given in Via delle Terme di Caracalla at 14:00.

 

2 - COVID-19 SECURITY MEASURES

 

The Organizing Committee of ATLETICOM WE RUN ROME, in compliance with the regulations in force in Italy for the containment of the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the following measures will be envisaged:

 

1) to access the Village Area, the possession of the Italian Green Certification or the valid EU (European Union) Green Pass will be mandatory;

2) to collect the race bib it will be mandatory to show the Italian Green Certification or the EU Green Pass valid on 31 December 2021;

3) recovery from Sars-CoV-2 infection (valid for 6 months);

4) carrying out a rapid molecular or antigen test with a negative result for the CoVid-19 virus (valid for 48 hours).

5) for those who come from non-EU countries (both to access the Village Area and to collect the race bib) it will be mandatory to have a vaccination certificate recognized by the EU or the negative result of a PCR or antigenic swab generation II or III performed within 48 hours before the race (therefore valid as of December 31, 2021);

 

Together with the presentation of the Italian Green Certification or the EU Green Pass, those who are entitled or will have to access the competition site must be in possession and deliver the anti-CoVID19 self-declaration. The self-certification form is a certificate in which the participant declares that they have no symptoms and that they have not met people infected with Covid-19.

3 – REGISTRATION

 

Registrations are limited/close number, limited to 200 athletes for each Rione. They must be made online until December 29th on the www.werunrome.com portal.

 

Registrations will be considered valid only after receipt of the relative payment.

 

It will not be possible to register on the competition spot.

 

The event is both competitive and non-competitive.

 

The participation fees are:

 

For both competitive and non-competitive 10 Km the registration fee is € 15.00 until October 19th, € 20.00 from October 20th to December 29th.

For the 5 km the registration fee is set at € 12.00 until October 19th, € 15.00 from October 20th to December 29th.

The 10 km competitive race is reserved for athletes who have turned 16 onwards (thousandth of age) on the date of the event.

For the non-competitive 10 km event, all those who have reached the age of 14 on the date of the event can register.

There are no age limits for the non-competitive 5 km race.

4 - REFUND OF THE PARTICIPATION FEE

 

 

Registration fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

The transfer of a registration for those who have already completed their registration will be free until December 1st, from December 2nd to December 24th, for each transfer a supplement of € 5.00 for secretarial fees must be paid.

 

It will not be possible to transfer registrations from 25 December to the day of the event.

 

By 1 December it will be possible to transfer the registration to the following year with the payment of € 10, subject to communication via email and a copy of the attached payment.

 

5 - COMPETITIVE RACE PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

 

- ATHLETES REGISTERED IN ITALY

Based on the provisions of art. 34 of the "Rules for the organization of events" issued by FIDAL, the competitive test is reserved for Italian / foreign athletes who have reached the age of 16 (one thousandth of age) on the date of the event, with the following requirements:

 

  • Athletes registered for 2021 with clubs affiliated with FIDAL;
  • Athletes registered with a Sports Promotion Body (Athletics section), recognized by CONI, in possession of Runcard EPS (valid as sports insurance and permission to compete), limited to athletes who are 20 years old onwards (thousandth of age) ; participation is in any case subject to:

a) or upon presentation of a valid medical certificate of specific competitive fitness for athletics, which must be shown to the organizers in original and kept, in copy, in the records of the organizing company of each event. The medical certificate for non-resident foreigners can be issued in one's own country, but the same examinations required by Italian law must have been carried out: a) medical examination; b) complete urinalysis; c) electrocardiogram at rest and after exertion; d) spirography.

b) or verification by the organizer of the validity of a medical certificate of specific competitive fitness for athletics through the Runcard database.

Pursuant to FIDAL regulations, participation in the competitive race with only the competitive medical certificate is not allowed.

 

 

- ATHLETES REGISTERED ABROAD

 

Italian athletes registered abroad, who have reached the age of 16 onwards (thousandths of age) on the date of the event, can participate, with the following requirements:

6 - REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION IN NON-COMPETITIVE RACE

 

The playful motor event includes two non-competitive tests, respectively on distances of 10 km and 5 km.

For the non-competitive 10 km event, all those who have reached the age of 14 on the date of the event can register.

There are no age limits for the non-competitive 5 km race.

 

Registration for the event implies the tacit declaration of self-certification of physical fitness for the practice of "non-competitive" sporting activity as required by current legislation on the subject and, therefore, exempts the organizers from requesting this medical certificate. The participant relieves the Organizing Committee and its partners from any responsibility regarding their physical fitness to take part in the event and from any civil or criminal liability, for damage to persons and / or property caused by him or derived from participation in the race. He also declares to grant his authorization to use any of his images relating to participation in the event for any legitimate use without remuneration.

 

For the non-competitive 10 km event there is no ranking: the athletes will be able to wear the chip for measuring the time but they will be included in a list in alphabetical order.

 

For the non-competitive 5 km test there is no time measurement.

 

7 - REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT METHOD

 

Registration is done online on the website www.werunrome.com (the fee is non-refundable) and payment can be made using a method of your choice between:

  • electronic payment through: credit card, prepaid cards and paypal;
  • wire transfer.

By choosing the bank transfer as a payment method, you will have to regularize your registration within 2 days, after this time period the registration, if not validated, will be canceled from the system and you will have to proceed with a new registration.

Cumulative bank transfers can also be made for multiple athletes, in which case the names of all those to whom the payment is affiliated must be reported in the reason for payment.

 

8 - COMPANY REGISTRATION METHOD

9 - COMPANY PAYMENT

10 - PARTICIPATION FEE

 

All the athletes of the competitive and non-competitive race (from 5 and 10 Km) the registration fee includes:

  • race bib;
  • RTC insurance;
  • medical and technical assistance;
  • official event t-shirt (availability of sizes until exhaustion);
  • chronometric service;
  • bag deposit service;
  • products and / or opportunities offered by sponsors;
  • medal for all finishers.

 

For both competitive and non-competitive 10 km participants, the timing chip will be applied to the bib.

 

11 - BIB WITHDRAWAL FOR INDIVIDUAL ATHLETES

12 - BIB WITHDRAWAL FOR COMPANIES

Each club that has sent its own entry list must report its own contact person who will collect the bibs and race packs for the whole team.

The bib and the race pack cannot be collected individually by athletes who are part of clubs who have registered in a cumulative manner.

 

13 - BIB

 

The race bib is strictly personal, cannot be tampered with and cannot be transferred to anyone, as it is specifically associated with the athlete registered for the event. Bib numbers will be assigned at the discretion of the Organizing Committee, only to athletes whose registration will be complete with payment of the fee. Once a bib number has been assigned, it will not be possible to change it.

 

14 - CRITERIA FOR ASSIGNING BIB NUMBERS

 

Bib numbers will be assigned at the discretion of the Organizing Committee. Since the start structure is "Waves", the bib numbers will not be assigned based on the athletes' accreditation times, as the ranking is drawn up based on Real Time, therefore on the actual time taken from crossing the starting line to that of arrival.

 

15 - START OF RACES

 

The departures will be structured in "Waves", each wave will include its entire 5 Rioni, with a maximum capacity of 2000 athletes, each of the departures will be scheduled by providing an adequate time interval between each and with a physical distance between each athlete.

 

The starts will take place in compliance with all the risk minimization rules: in the phases before the start all the athletes must wear their own protective mask which must be worn for the first 500 m of the race, subsequently they can remove it and preferably not throw it away and keep it while running.

 

It should be noted that small changes in the timetable may be possible due to particular technical and organizational needs.

 

In order to optimally manage departures, the start of the race and the finish will not coincide.

The maximum time to complete the race is 90 ', after this time no further traffic block is guaranteed.

17 - INDIVIDUAL AWARDS

 

The first 3 men and the first 3 women of the competitive test will be awarded.

The first 3 classified in each category foreseen by the FIDAL will also be awarded for the competitive test. The first 3 men and the first 3 women of the overall ranking are excluded from the category awards.

 

The category awards include:

 

- 1st place in each category wins a 100% discount coupon for We Run Rome 2022

- 2nd place in each category wins a 50% discount voucher for We Run Rome 2022

- 3rd place in each category wins a 25% discount coupon for the We Run Rome 2022

 

For the determination of the final classification, Real Time will be considered, ie the actual time taken from crossing the starting line to the finish line.

 

There are no awards for non-competitive races.

 

18 - PALIO OF ROME

 

Absolute novelty of this X Edition is the Palio di Roma. A challenge between all the competing districts, which was born as a tribute to the city of Rome on the centenary of the Capitoline consecration of the famous Roman "districts".

 

The winning district of the special ranking will be determined by the following discriminating factors:

 

  • The sum of the best 10 male and female chronometric results of each ward. The lower the overall time trial, the more the district will climb the special ranking.
  • The greater the number of female members within the same Ward, the greater the bonus awarded to the Ward. This bonus will reduce the overall time totaled by the district and therefore decree the final ranking.

 

19 - AWARDS

 

For safety reasons, in order not to create gatherings and to comply with the provisions of the FIDAL protocol, the awards will be held in a reduced form, rewarding only the first 3 men and 3 women who have established the best chronometric results.

 

The category awards will not be held, the related discount coupons will be sent directly to the winners' email addresses in the days following the event.

 

There are no awards for non-competitive tests.

 

20 - ABSOLUTE AWARDS

 

The prize money for the absolute of the ATLETICOM WE RUN ROME will be announced as the event approaches.

 

21 - COMPANY AWARDS

 

The first 5 companies classified on the basis of the number of finishers (of the competitive test) who have reached the finish line will be awarded, with a minimum of 30 participants. The sum of the athletes who have reached the finish line will determine the final classification.

 

Only and exclusively sports associations that have actively participated in the event will be able to access the club awards by sending their list of members.

 

The company bonuses are divided as follows:

24 – REFRESHMENT

 

For the competitive and non-competitive 10 km test there are two refreshment points, an intermediate one at the 5th km and a final one at the finish.

For the 5 km test there will be a refreshment on arrival.

The use of the refreshment devices will be exclusive and personal to the individual participant.

25 - BAG DEPOSIT AND CHANGING ROOM

 

Special stands will be set up at the Atleticom We Run Rome village where you can leave your personal belongings, we recommend that you do not deposit valuables in the same.

 

To limit any form of gathering, there will be no changing rooms, therefore we invite all athletes to present themselves already in competition gear.

 

26 - HEALTH SERVICE

 

The health facilities will be placed along the entire route of the race and upon arrival.

 

27 - PRIVACY POLICY

 

Personal data, the provision of which is mandatory for the purpose of registering with Atleticom We Run Rome, will be processed pursuant to and for the purposes of the provisions of art. 13 of the 2016/679 European Regulation on the protection of personal data ("GDPR") and the National Privacy Law.

 

The same data indicated at the time of registration are used to prepare the list of participants, the rankings, by historical archive, to carry out the services declared in the regulation and to send information material from Atleticom We Run Rome or its partners. .

28 - IMAGE RIGHT

 

Upon registering for Atleticom We Run Rome, the athlete expressly authorizes the Organizing Committee, third parties operating on his behalf and the media partners to use the still or moving images that possibly portray him during his participation in the race, on all media, including promotional and / or advertising materials, all over the world and for all the maximum time provided by the laws, regulations, treaties in force, including any extension that may be made to the envisaged period. In compliance with the regulations, each member can use the outfit of the club he belongs to, or if he wishes, the official jersey of the event.

 

29 - TIMING AND RANKINGS

 

The timing service and the elaboration of the rankings will be provided by an external company and the same are validated by the Technical Delegate Judge / Appeal Judge.

 

The chip will be disposable and therefore it will not be returned at the end of the race.

 

The ranking will be drawn up on the basis of "Real Time", ie the time taken from crossing the starting line to the finish line.

 

30 - COMPLAINTS

 

Any complaints must be presented in compliance with the FIDAL and R.T.I.

 

31 - INCORPORATED IMPOSSIBILITY

 

In the event that the tender is canceled and / or postponed to another date, or in any case, not carried out for causes or reasons not attributable and / or not attributable to the will of the Organization, including the revocation of the authorization to carry it out by the Public Bodies competent, the member will have nothing to claim from Atleticom ASD and / or from Atleticom srl or from the partners neither for the refund of the amount paid for the registration, nor as a reimbursement of any expense incurred or to be incurred.

 

Registration has the value of acceptance of this clause and as an express waiver of any claim resulting from the cancellation and / or postponement of the race, both relating to compensation for any damages suffered or suffered and / or for compensation and / or for any other reinstatement and / or satisfactory claim for any pecuniary and non-pecuniary damage, suffered and undergoing.

 

In the event of cancellation and / or postponement of the race, the registration made may be used for the new established date or may be used for the race to be held the following year.

 

32 - EXEMPTION OF LIABILITY

 

By registering for Atleticom We Run Rome, the participant accepts this regulation in its entirety and expressly declares to assume all the risks arising from participation in the event. As a result of this acceptance, the organizer and the individuals who participated in the organization of the sporting event are expressly exempted from any liability for any damage or harm resulting from participation in the event.

 

In particular, the athlete:

 

1. Relieves the organizer declares that the anticovid measures contained in these Regulations and in the Fidal regulations are appropriate and undertakes to comply with them. If, despite these measures, there were cases of contagion for Covid, the infected participant declares as of now that he has nothing to expect from the organizer as he cannot prevent the risk in any other way or reduce it further.

2. He undertakes to maintain the interpersonal distance limit and the protective devices (mask) whenever this is possible and where this is not possible for any reason (such as during the race) this occurs at the risk of the participant.

3. Relieves the organizer from any responsibility, both direct and indirect and in solidarity in the event of contagions for Covid due to false declarations by third parties (including the participants themselves) on the anticovid form that have not declared suspicion.

4. He declares to be aware that his mendacious or erroneous declaration on the anticovid form entails not only his criminal responsibilities but also personal and direct civil liability as the organizer is not jointly responsible for his false or incorrect declarations.

 

33 - FINAL WARNINGS

 

The Organizing Committee reserves the right, subject to the authorization of CR Lazio and the National FIDAL, to modify these regulations at any time for reasons it deems appropriate for a better organization of the race.
